For Liste, Nandi Loaf will present a performative installation that passively uses the fair and its participants as the basis for new work. Nandi Loaf will construct a booth that reflects on consumption, access, and control in the art fair and art market at large. Like a haunted-houses or amusement ride, Nandi Loaf creates elaborate experiences that reveal the hollowness of exchange. Through this high-produced emptiness Nandi Loaf’s work immerses the viewer in the flattening of reality in an increasingly artificial world.
