Around the walls of the space a series of photographs documenting the destruction to citizens’ homes after they have been searched by the authorities in Belarus encases the viewer. The work demonstrates how these searches become another measure of exerting pressure on political opponents, a violent act of intimidation and a demonstration of impunity. Accompanying these images are assemblages utilizing found and borrowed materials composed on site exploring further references to domination and political suppression.
