For Liste 2024, Schiefe Zähne presents new works by London-based painter Anna Clegg (b. 1998), whose practice dissects the circulation of images in the digital age. Merging photorealism with painterly gesture, her works feel at once intimate and estranged. Drawing from the melancholia of Hammershøi’s interiors, or Adrian Morris’s subdued landscapes, Clegg weaves a visual lexicon of cultural touchstones, exploring nostalgia, identity, and the uneasy interplay between private memory and public iconography.
