Sara Ravelli works across sculpture, installation, and writing, questioning the sentimental charge of objects and the tension between care and compromised functionality. With a handcrafted approach, she creates cartoonish characters and artifacts. At Liste she will present a new sculptural installation featuring two mechanical papier-mâché eyes using the language of Carnival parade floats, together with three musical elements that, deprived of their function, can be activated by the viewer.
