Ruoxi Jin will unveil a crime scene that involves the disappearance of one of her reincarnations from a past life. In an almost symmetrical arrangement, pairs of carefully placed objects align into a constellation, suggesting traces of potential loss and rebirth. Ruoxi Jin will be physically present at the scene, giving special investigator tours, questioning the chain of events and fortuitous encounters that led to the discovery of her previous life at the Cibrián booth during the 2025 Liste Art Fair in Basel.

Ruoxi Jin (b. 1997, China) is based in Paris. She received her MFA with honors from the Beaux-Arts de Paris (2024). Recent group shows have been held at Palais des Beaux-Arts, Galerie Kamel Mennour, and Galerie du Crous in Paris. Her works respond to their exhibited context through semi-fictional narratives and personal mythologies. Her assemblages of found objects create enigmatic scenes, whose meanings are then activated through performative interactions with the audience. She views art as a means of connection, fostering sincere relationships in an increasingly fragmented world.
