For LISTE 2025, Ciaccia Levi is pleased to present a solo project by Leonardo Devito. Born in Florence, Italy, in 1997, Devito has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting and innovative voices of his generation. Devito anchors the past to the present with a language rich in references and through a plastic structure that seems to halt the time of action, captured in its immanence and confined in a visual and mental space where the outside does not refer to anything else.

Leonardo Devito (b. 1997, Florence)’s creative process takes inspirations from Renaissance elements with an underground and experimental twist. He begins with an image that evolves unpredictably during painting, creating a unique narrative. Avoiding iconic and monolithic tensions, Devito often emphasizes childhood in his paintings as a means of thematic purification, constructing a personal imagery unconstrained by research. The artist also explores three-dimensionality through bas-relief, mediating between two- and three-dimensional dimensions. Recent exhibitions have been held at Ciaccia Levi, Milan and Paris; X Museum, Beijing; Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, Florence; Museo G. Fattori, Livorno. He has a BA from the Academy of Fine Arts, Florence (2020) and an MFA from Accademia Albertina, Turin, (2023). He lives and works in Turin, Italy.
